RGB LAN 9 is coming!!
RGB LAN fans, I come bearing two pieces of good news. The first is that we finally found the blog password! Our blog will have plenty of updates in the lead-up to our coming event, and our Discord server will also be a constant source of up-to-the-minute activity that we're cooking up. The second is we're just about ready to sell tickets to RGB LAN 9!!
Those already in our Discord server saw our announcement previously about our event dates on September 11-13 this year, once again returning to Hall E of the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. The first question that came to everyone's mind right after that: when can we get our tickets? Well, we're announcing ticket sales opening up on June 26th! Lock in your seats with your squad, pick your team colors, and start thinking about all the cables you'll need to pack!
To help you decide on the right team, we're proud to partner with three local charities that each team will compete for! All three charities receive a portion of proceeds, but the team with the highest point totals will get an extra share:
- Red Team will compete for Last Chance Ranch: This non-profit helps promote and educate the public on humane and responsible treatment of equines, farm animals, and other domestic companion animals such as cats and dogs. They provide refuge for animals in need, and rehabilitate rescued animals with a focus on finding their forever home.
- Green Team will compete for PA VFW District 16: This non-profit benefits a wide-reaching net of community activities that helps to strengthen and support veterans of foreign wars and their families. From helping homeless veterans, to organizing food and clothing drives, and giving those who served a strong community to connect with, the PA VFW of Montgomery County does so much for those who gave even more.
- Blue Team will compete for Garden of Health: This non-profit provides fresh produce and food to low-income senior housing and community groups in Montgomery and Bucks Counties, with a particular focus on food without the top eight allergens. Whether clients have needs coming from diabetes, nut allergies, or more, Garden of Health works closely with them to provide food that is both healthy and safe.
